Live Characters: Modify head of a character?

Hi all

I know that it's possible to add a custom head to an avatar. But I don't want to create my own head - I just want to modify an existing one and re-attach it to the avatar. Is this possible? To "cut off" a head, modify somewhere (e.g. 3DSMax) and then re-attach it?

In order to modify the meshes of the Vizard avatars you would need to purchase the Vizard Complete Characters which include the Max files.
