3d modeling question
Hey guys,
how do I model a diamond in 3d Max? In other words, I want to model a structure whose surfaces are both see-through and have a brightness/luster to them. I want to be able to see through the diamond to its insides. Thanks in advance. |

Hi VDong,
Right now your best bet would be a combination of using a diffuse map with an alpha channel for transparency, and a reflection map. Vizard does not yet have support for this kind of refraction (we have a water shader, but that only works for flat horizontal planes). |

Thanks Veleno,
after I model the object how do I import it onto a web page or a web applet window? I want it to be able to rotate in 3d view on the web page window. Should I save it as a VRML file first? |
