Problems with lighting in 2.0

Just two more thoughts:

a) are you using an ATI graphics card? Which?
b) can you try loading untextured models (like Start - Programs - Vizard20 - 3D Models - 3D Text) into Vizard to see if this is a problem about textures or about lighting?
