corrupt cmf files for sportive02_f and 03

I've gone back to the original CD for the complete character set but it has not resolved a problem with
sportive02_f_highpoly and sportive03_f_highpoly
(I only work with the highpoly files so unsure if problem is still there with low and medium)
For most actions, apart from idle mode, the arms of these 2 avatars are horribly distorted. When I replaced the CMF mesh files for them with those for sportive03 (copied and renamed as 02/03 CMF files) the problem with the arms resolved itself although it did introduce a small 'gap' around the base of the neck, but this is easier to live with.

I was wondering, was there ever a fix to this problem (as the character set is very old)? Are there some updated files I can get to fix this problem properly?

Can you upload a zipper folder with the related avatar files and example script that can be run directly and reproduces this issue?
