"splitting" an IVE object
I have an appartment which is by now a single IVE file.
Is there a way to "split" it into a collection of objects (in order to remove furniture for instance)? Thanks.

If each of these objects was defined as a sub-part in the modeling software than this is possible. Take a look at the following article for more information about this:
