Video function

I'm trying to video a walk through of a maze. It should be as simple as pressing 'control F12'. When I do this it says that it is recording, but the avi file is then just a blank screen. It's a large file, or the correct length, so it's doing something, but not recording the screen.
I've got a demo version (also version 3) on another laptop, where this function works fine, so I'm unsure why it doesn't work on my full version of vizard. Any thoughts?

Are you running on Windows Vista/7? The recording feature does not work properly on those versions of Windows. This has been fixed in Vizard 4.0 though.

Try the following as a workaround.
  1. Browse to the Vizard bin folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\WorldViz\Vizard30\bin)
  2. Right-click on winviz.exe and select Properties
  3. Select the Compatibility tab
  4. Check the Disable desktop composition option and click OK

Depending on your graphics driver, this should fix the issue. It should also improve the overall rendering performance of Vizard.
