3dsmax export problems (everything is too bright)
It seems that all my models, when exported from 3ds max to OSG format, show up WAY too bright in Vizard. From some angles, I can see the texture, but from most, it is almost pure white.
I have tried this even with a simple scene (a box, and a single texture with color map). Even here it is too bright. I have tried to change specular color to black, and levels to 0. No perceivable change was detected. Also, while I have your attention, is there any documentation on how to add custom shaders to the 3dsmax workflow? For example, I developed some shaders in OpenGL Shading Language that I would like to use in Vizard, via the same 3dsmax workflow. |

Make sure your self illumination is not set to 100%.
I have attached a screen shot from my 3DS Max 2011 material editor and IVE File export. |
