Hi Everyone,

I'm currently looking into getting some characters I create
in either Maya 8 or Max 8 into vizard.
I've got some bones set up in each example as well as animations
for a walk, idle, left, right cycle as well.

Is there any documentation on getting these into Vizard in a way
that doesn't involve exporting as an IVE with a set constantly
repeating motion path?

I took a peak at ya all's duck demo and I noticed you use a
file format called .cfg with animation files being .caf and meshs
being .cmf.

Is there an export for this? Or is this something you all have a monopoly
on with your peoplemaker pack? Is it some customized code for Max's
character program?

I personally would just like a clearer picture of how to get more complex
models into vizard in the most efficient way possible. I noticed very little
documentation on this in both the manual and online.

Thanks,

As you noticed, Vizard supports avatars in the .cfg (Cal3D) format. Information on exporting this from 3DsMax:
