haptic 3d cursor

I was wondering if it is possible to create a 3d haptic cursor of different shapes, within Vizard, which should then behave as a haptic pointer as a whole instead of a single point

I was also interested in something like this, but I couldn't find any OpenHaptics examples describing how to do this. If you have a support contract with Sensable, then you might try asking them for information about implementing this.
