We use an eMargin Z800 3DVisor as our HMD:

It takes two separate 800x600 video inputs.
In our previous setup we had Vizard 3 running on WinXP with an nVidia GeForce GTS 250 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#GeF orce_200_Series) that had two outputs. The two outputs went into the HMD, and we configured the video card to span the two outputs into one virtual display (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-monitor#Span_or_extended_desktop_mode). This worked, I assume Vizard expects to go fullscreen on a double-wide video output (1600x600 in our case).
Our new setup involves a Lenovo laptop with an nVidia Quadro 1000M (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#Mob ility_Quadro) for the external video ports. The ports are VGA and DisplayPort adapted to VGA, so the HMD can be attached. The problem occurs when running Vizard. It's only able to go fullscreen on one monitor at a time. This wasn't an issue with our previous setup because we spanned the two outputs into one. Unfortunately nVidia says that the new display driver model that the Windows 7 kernel uses does not allow this (http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=166994&view=findpost&p=1045559). So now we need some way of getting stereoscopic output through two separate monitors as opposed to a concatenation of them. I have looked through the Vizard documentation but stereoscopic capability isn't discussed in this depth.
Is there any solution to this issue that can be addressed through Vizard? I'm also looking into software emulation of spanning at the moment.
