Hi everybody

My name is Joshua and I'm studying psychology at the university of Berne, Switzerland.

For my bachelor assignment I need to conduct an experiment using our brand new WorldViz laboratory. Sadly, nobody around here really has a big idea on how to use it. So I wanted to ask kindly for help here, so someone could point me into the right direction.

What I need is in fact quite simple, I guess:
I need a small room in which one wall is a mirror, and an avatar in the room.

I saw there's some example code for creating a mirror...

So my first question is: how do I create a room? As far as I can see, there's no editor for such WRL files? Is there a simpler and cheaper application available than 3D Studio Max? I heard about Flux Studio, but the website doesn't seem to exist anymore.

I'm very thankful for any help.

Greetings, Josh

Hi,
Under tutorials and examples in Vizard documentation you can start with “Getting your feet wet”

You might try using Blender. It's fairly similar to 3D Studio Max and it's freeware and open source.
