I haven't tried it, but their website claims they can export to Lightwave LWO files. Vizard comes with a lwo loader, so it might work.

thanks Farshi, but the fact is that I need to manage a large scale terrain... In vizard help, you're talking about the terrapage format. Can you refer me some tools ?

Just want to clarify here that Terragen models and the terrapage format have no connection.

The tool that creates the terrapage format is called Terra Vista and is made by a company called Presagis. Vizard is based on OpenSceneGraph 1.2 and I'm not sure whether the most recent version of terrapage would be supported. Perhaps you could get a sample model and try it out.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the informations, but I already tried to download Terra Vista at http://www.presagis.com... Still trying to find something opensource out there...

Thanks again Jeff

I tried the 'terrapage' format models here:
http://www.triangraphics.de/index.php?1=Download&l=eng

Vizard says:

Error reading file: DataInputStream::DataInputStream(): The version found in the file is newer than this library can handle.

What version of the terrapage format does Vizard support?
