vizmic and audio transmission

Has anyone setup a networked application in which a user on one end is able to listen to another user speaking on the other end? Basically I have a mic that one user speaks into on Computer A, and then the audio stream would be transmitted to Computer B where the other user is then able to listen. The vizmic module does not seem to be able to handle this. If someone has done something similar some pointers would be most appreciated.
