Hi!

Currently, I'm working on adding an avatar with a severed arm into my Vizard program. However, after I have exported the .max vcc model as a .wrl in 3DS Max, I've tried to load it into my vizard world. When it loads into the world, it seems the bones or bipeds, not sure which, are enlarged as blue, green, and yellow polygons. They poke out through the regular mesh too.

So, I'm not sure if it's a problem with how I exported something or I forgot to write in some code.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I guess I forgot to include the question.

How can I make these biped/bone objects invisible so they don't detract from the avatar's appearance?

Thanks again!

Vizard support avatars in the Cal3D format. Here is information on exporting to Cal3D from 3dsMax

http://download.gna.org/cal3d/docume.../tutorial.html

what you will need to load in Vizard is the cfg file. the Cal3D exporter for Max is available on our download page

Hi vEsotu,

Jeff miscopied the link for the character exporting tutorial, which can be found here:
