Our lab (currently running the latest Vizard 3 beta and using PPT/Intersense tracking systems) has gotten a P5 Powerglove, with the hope of letting users see their hand inside rendered worlds. The glove came with no documentation to speak of. I'm wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to get started in integrating the glove into the system.

Hi,

I don't believe we have ever integrated a P5 PowerGlove into Vizard. You will probably need to contact the makers of the glove for documentation.

I've made a terrible mistake. The P5 is the $50 thing we briefly considered buying and didn't. What we actually have is a 5DT Data Glove Ultra. If I still need to talk o the makers that's fine, but if you've worked with a 5DT before I'd appreciate any advice.

You can download sample scripts for using the 5DT data glove under the "Hardware Examples" section of our Download -> Demos page. These script should show you how to connect to the glove and apply it to a hand model.

I have a Powerglove- I think Nintendo or Sega made it.
I may have PC drivers for this somewhere.
Is that the glove ?
If so does anyone have drivers that would work with Vizard?
