I have a ppt 4 camera tracking system in my lab space (+ am running vizard v4)

I've built a simple room the exact size of my lab in 3dsmax and exported it to osgb

that all works fine :)

except that my room is 90degrees mis orientated and also offset in both x & z.

I can use room.seteuler(90,0,0) ok but using room.setposition(x,y,z) is really fiddly to get right.

Is there an easier way to just say position my room so that the center of it is at 0,0,0 ?
or am i better to go back to 3dsmax and edit the position at source (not sure how easy that would be as i'm new to it)

many thanks for any suggestions,

John

The best solution is to fix the origin and orientation in Max before exporting to Vizard. You should be able to move the room so its center is just above the origin in Max.

Thanks for the advice.

I did as you suggested and fixed it at source in Max { right click | move | set the x,y,z coordinates to zero }
