editing cal3d animation

I am new to Vizard...

I have a big cal3d animation, saved in .caf format.

Now I only need to play a small part of it.

Is there a way to:

(1) Use vizard animation command to do it in vizard?
(2) Use some kind of Cal3d editor to save part of the animation to a smaller file?
or
(3) load the .caf animation in some 3d animation software (3dsmax or motionbuilder) to edit it there?

Thanks!
