loading motion data for avatars
Hi everyone,
Is there anyway that I could load motion data(e.g. in asf/amc or bvh format) into Vizard so that the avatars can perform more complex activities like kicking a ball, fighting, etc.? Many thanks! Della |

Yes, but only through a 3rd party program. For instance, 3DMax CharacterStudio can load BVH files. Vizard's avatars are built using CharacterStudio, and you can obtain an avatar bones-only biped for free that will allow you to use a special plug-in (Cal3D) to export Vizard avatar compatible animations.
If you're interested in this work flow, we can send you more information. |

Hi tobin,
Thanks for your suggestions. However we only have Maya, any way could export motion data from Maya to Cal3D format so that it is possible to load into Vizard? This seems to be a big problem... Thank you! |
