Maya 8.5 Cal3D exporter not working
My boss has Maya 8.5 Unlimited, and I put the plugin in the plugins folder and cal3d.dll in the bin folder, and Maya detects the plugin but when I try to load it it gives me error: the specified procedure could not be found
I even tried different versions of cal3d.dll, including one I built, and others from the Cal3D binary distributions and from a separate 3D studio exporter. |

Did you try the version of cal3d.dll that comes with Vizard 3.0?

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, I got it to work. I'm wondering why other versions of the dll don't work. Is the Cal3D in Vizard not a standard published version?

Vizard uses a somewhat older version of cal3d that has been slightly modified, so it is probably incompatible with the versions available on the cal3d website.

I've seen a branch version on the web that adds keyframed morph animations, is that the one? How would I go about exporting animated morphs?

We are using an older version that does not support exported morph animations.
