an object in motion does not stay in motion?

I am trying to work in a zero gravity environment I have the gravity set to zero but when I apply a force to my object it slows down and eventually stops. is there a way I can make an object in motion retain its velocity as if it were in outer space. I have been stuck on this for a while i tried changing the different physical properties of the object but it still slows down as if it were in an atmosphere.

fyi i am still using the trial version if that makes any difference
