Trouble Loading Maya7 Cal3d Exporter
I downloaded the Maya7 Cal3d exporter file (cal3d_maya7_Export.mll), and placed this file in the Maya plugins folder (I'm using Maya 7 on OSX).
When I try to load the plugin via the plugin manager, I get a console error saying that cal3d_maya7_Export.lib was not found in the plugin path.. Am I doing something wrong, is there really a .lib file missing, or is this plugin incompatible with Maya for OSX? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! |

Unfortuantly I am inexpered with Maya or OSX, so I'm not sure how plugins are installed here. I suspect that the exporter file dependes on other Cal3D files. Try to find some general directions/files for installing the cal3D exporter for Maya, then replacing the non-Vizard cal3d_maya7_Export.mll export file with Vizard's export file.

Perhaps you need to put the 'cal3d.dll' file into the Maya\bin directory. You can get the cal3D file from the Vizard30/bin directory.
Here is where I got this information. http://www.delta3d.org/article.php?s...opic=tutorials
