Trouble Exporting to .ive

I have several models I am currently working on in 3d studio, and I am having trouble consistently exporting models with textures.

I am using Vizard 3 and I have the OSG exporter for max off this site.
The weirdness is that sometimes I export an .ive file and everything is great, but the next time the model will not have any textures on it. I can tell immediately when it goes wrong because the exporting process in max is too quick and the .ive file is way too small.

I figure that SOMETHING has to be different, but I can't figure out what it is.
Has anyone come across this before? Is there a location I should be putting both the textures AND exporting the model?

I am a total noob to vizard, but I am very good with max.
