Maya to Vizard

I am building 3D models in Maya and exporting them as OSG files. However, when I open them in Inspector, I come across a few issues.
  1. The colors or textures applied in Maya don't show up.
  2. The imported object shows up as mutiple geodes each with one geometry. A lot of these geodes are just one face of an object or a transform of some kind.
  3. The object is partially distorted - e.g. holes and crooked edges.

Are there some best practices when going from Maya to Inspector?

Thanks!

We support the OSG workflow from 3ds Max to Vizard. Do you have access to 3ds Max? If not, you could try exporting to FBX from Maya and loading that in Vizard.
