shadow

does vizard have any sort of built in function for adding a shadow to an object?

Currently, you can only simulate shadows with Vizard. You do this by moving a shadow image under the object. The gallery demo does this for the bouncing ball.

If you need to have the shadow on an uneven surface, you can use the following projector module. Put the projector.dlm file in your Vizard plug-ins directory and the projector.py file in your python directory. Check out the included test script to see how it is used.
