Connecting vizard to a camera
Hi
I wanted to create a movies of people inside the VR - But not the VR itself, actually seeing them in real life. I imagine i would have to connect my computer to a digital camera, and then somehow synchronize vizard to the camera, so it would know when to start recording. Am i right? Is this possible? If so, can i also record the sound directly to the camera? I have no experience in hardware, so would be glad for detailed explanation, is possible... Also, if it is possible, do you have any recommendation for a camera? Thanks, Dan |

You are probably better off just having somebody manually press the record button on the camera. To capture sound, you can connect the audio output of the computer to the microphone input of the video camera. We've used this technique to record people using VR with the audio coming from the computer.
