3ds MAX to Vizard - Render to Texture Problem
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has experience burning lighting and shadows in 3DS Max. I followed the Vizard tutorial on texture burning (available on the vizard support site) but I get strange artifacts in the shadows. My radiosity solution also looks strange (using an IES Sun casting shadows on a 3D maze -- see pictures at link below). Has anyone experienced this problem? What techniques do you use to generate realistic lighting for your Vizard displays? Are there any key parameters I should be messing with to get a more realistic solution and avoid the artifacts? Pictures available here: http://area.autodesk.com/forum/autod.../sun-+-shadows Thanks, Jon |
