Motion Capture & CyberGloves
We are trying to incorporate motion and glove data into Vizard.
I've looked around on the forums and guides and such. I've found things like 'you can map your data onto the avatar using 3DS Max' or 'just use Character Studio' but I have been unable at this time to find an actual step by step guide of how to bring in motion capture data or CyberGlove data. Is there anyone out there that has actually done this that could walk us through the process? Or do you know of a guide that can do it? Thanks for your help! PS. Currently our motion data is coming out of Autodesk MotionBuilder, and I've heard that we should just be able to plug our CyberGloves straight into Vizard. |

Our Live Characters product allows you to animate an avatar using motion capture data, going through Motionbuilder. You can also connect the Cyberglove to Motionbuilder and have that hand data be mapped to the character. There is a trial version of Live Characters that you can download from our website. The documentation included with the download guides you through the steps to do this. We also have some video tutorials for Live characters setup on our knowledge base.
