Tickle2 Demo not working in Vizard 3.0

Hi. With our new version of Vizard Tickle2.py is not working. It gives the error:

C:\Program Files\WorldViz\Vizard30\bin\lib\whrandom.py:38: DeprecationWarning: the whrandom module is deprecated; please use the random module
DeprecationWarning)
** ERROR: Failed to load plug-in: 'hd.dlm'

I tried adding the line
Code:
viz.setOption('hd.version',1)
This did not work. Furthermore I wrote my own script that works just fine with the haptic pen and in it all I say is:

Code:
 import hd
The code works in 2.5. I have attached the file.

Thanks.

Does the Tickle2.py script contain a local version of the hd.dlm file?

What do you mean a local version of the file within the script? Do you mean a local version of the file within the folder the script is running from?

Pablo

Yes, is there a copy of the hd.dlm file in the directory of the tickle script?

No, you should remove the file since it is already included with Vizard 3.0. If there happens to be a hd.py and hd.pyc file in the same directory as the script you should remove them as well.

We tried removing the files you mentioned, and now we can feel the baby, but the background is not there, the sound doesn't work, and the baby doesn't cry or smile - all it will do is close its eye.

Any ideas?

Could you maybe just give us a new version of the script/folder.
