Halting mouse view-transforms

Is there a way to disable the default behavior of using the mouse to move around the scene?

We want to use the mouse as an input device for our experiment, and not be having it do viewpoint transforms.

With tracking turned on and in fullscreen mode, pressing the left and right mouse buttons alters the viewpoint position a little. Pretty jarring with a headmount on, actually
