Lightbulb avatar walking backward

Hi,

I didn't find any idea how to do that, so i'm trying through the forum.

When we are placing a chair and we want to make an avatar sitting down on it and to be precise on the placement. How can we do that ?

If I don't want the avatar going through the chair before sitting down, then he is too much in front of the chair and if we look from the side, it doesn't work.

so i was thinking, the avatar being in front of the front of the chair going backward to sit down correctly.

Is there any example of that ?
thanks
