workflow from makehuman to vizard
hi there,
i am currently working with an avatar creation workflow. You export your data from MakeHuman to 3ds Max where you build up your biped skeleton and apply it on your model. After that you use the Material Editor to apply the skins which you have to number through. After that you are have to give it some movement via "cpy" files which you can also create on 3ds max. All in all it works perfectly fine! I can make it move via the states correctly and it works relatively good. My question is, does anyone have also a problem with the skinning? every single skin i apply seems to have a bias in it. for example....my jeans are "open". my skin seems to be slightly shaken. Does anyone also encountered this problems? cheers swaine |

Does the model seem properly skinned and are you testing the avatar with animations in Max? If everything works well in Max, then make sure to follow the directions in the Cal3D tutorial to export the avatar.
