Page flip stereo panorama

I am curious if one can accomplish a page flipped stereo panorama. I see the options for split screen and anaglyph only.

If not, would the split screen mode be compatible with passive projection (dual projectors with polarized filters)

Thanks,

Chris

If your graphics card supports quad buffering then you can do the following to enable page flipped stereo:
Code:
viz.go(viz.QUAD_BUFFER)
If your projector accepts split screen input, then split screen stereo should work. What type of input does your projection system accept?

Thank you for the reply. We have quad buffered video cards and shutter glasses for our monitors. I will give this code a try.

Regarding the projection system input... to be honest, I don't know yet. We just got it, and it sort of just works so far It is a dual projector passive stereo system from EON. I am interested in pursuing stereo panos in my architecture classes next semester and do not see this feature supported by their VR suite, so I am considering Vizard as an alternative. If I can get this to also work on our projectors it would be ideal.

Thank you,

Chris

Hi,

We're pretty sure split-screen stereo should also work with your projector. To be sure, can you tell us the company that makes the projector and the model number?

Vizard comes with a stereo panorama example. Let me know if you need any help getting started with it.
