Importing from Blender and getting "real" sizes for models?

Hi,

I've luckily had that a-ha moment with Blender and I've got a accurate (though crude) model of our lab designed. Currently I'm using a conversion of 1 inch to 1 Blender unit, because I only had a standard tape measure on hand when I was designing it - but since everything is consistent, I can resize the actual model to any number of internal units.

So, being able to export to .osg (and, barely, collada), what unit conversion should I use in Blender (or scale should I use in Vizard) to get this model to be accurate? Right now I think it's around 0.060, but I'm not sure.

Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks.

You will probably want to convert the model units to meters. Try applying a 0.0254 scale to your model in Blender before exporting. It is usually preferable to apply any scaling in your modeling program instead of Vizard.
