Mixamo

Hi

I have a problem by using mixamo avatars. How is it possible to make them speaking?

PS I worked with "import speak_sync" with the HD Characters from rocketbox. But this is not possible with mixamos.

best

Manuel

Does the character have a jaw bone? If so, try adding the jaw bone name to the character's .cfg file.

no, it doesn't have a jaw bone (there is only "HeadTop_End, RightEye,LeftEye" for head bones). And that is the main problem. How can I get access to the JawBone. Does Worldviz (or anybody else) have a workflow (Mixamo > Inspector > Vizard) for sepaking avatars?

Thanks

same issues

Hi everyone,
It seems that I have the same problem, because we are trying to use the mixamo avatars, but in some cases we need them to speak and for now it's impossible.
Is there any solutions about it ?

Best,
Stéphane

Currently this is not possible with the direct workflow. To do this, you would need to import the Mixamo fbx character into Max, add a speech morph, and then export to Cal3D for use in Vizard.
