texbox overflow doesn't work when in panel

Hi,

I can change the overflow method of a textbox when I use it in the screen. But, if I add the textbox to a panel, the overflow method doesn't work (it always grow).

Is this a known issue? Is there a way to resolve this problem? Am I doing something wrong?
