IVE panorama

I am interested in knowing how the panorama.ive file is created in the scaffold.py program that is used as a demo in Vizard.

Is it initially:
- Two fisheye pictures that are stitched?
- A bunch of jpeg pictues that are stitched?
- Anything else?

Thanks for givig me some lead on this. It will save me time

Patrick

I beleave it was made by stiching a buch of normal pictures together. The pictures were then applied to a many sided polygon in 3ds Max. Scale the panarama.ive object way down in the demo to see how the model was constructed.

I believe it was stitched together from separate images. There are many 3rd party tools that are able to stitch multiple images into one, but most are commercial. There are a few free ones such as Hugin
