Customizing radio buttons/checkboxes

The group I'm doing some development for want to know if there's a way to tweak the radio buttons and checkboxes I'm creating in a menu. What they'd like to do is move the radio button/checkbox to the left side of the label. Some of the label names are long and they don't like to have to move the mouse all the way over to the right to select the option.
