Sensor gets confused

I have 4 sensors that I use currently for my program. Sometimes I switch the program only to track three, but the problem is the computer that tracks the sensors seems to switch sensors once in awhile. Is there a way to track 4 sensors, use 3 of them(for example, could be only 2 as well) in the program and keep the sensors inline(meaning not switching)?

I can explain more if this is not clear. Its kind of hard to explain whats happening. FYI, these sensors are single lights.

IE. My sensors are linked to a 'white_ball.wrl' (node). I labed the sensors accoreding to the label of the balls 1,2,3,4. I switch my program to disable ball 4. The problem, sensor 2 switches with sensor 4. so now sensor 4 is ball 2.

Is there a way to solve this?

If the markers get occluded then the ID's can switch.

The solution to this is a new product we have called Marker ID, which are markers with programmed ID's, and by blinking certain patterns, PPT will not get confused

For more information on Marker ID contact sales@worldviz.com
