Question regarding creating new worlds/rooms
what is the best to create new spaces/worlds/rooms?
3dmax? or maybe some vrml tool? is it worth studying vrml language, or is it just a waste of time? when saying best, i regard what is the easiest, and also what creates the most realistic ones. Thanks, Dan. |

I find it's more a matter of preference. 3ds max can take a little while to figure out but it's probably one of the better options. It has lots of tools available to make tasks easier and faster, while still being a very powerful application.
Also, worldviz has a .osg exporter available for 3ds max. I've found that using .osg files in vizard has given me the best results as far as compatibility goes. The osg exporter is fairly easy to use, and almost always directly translates what you see in 3dsmax to what you see in vizard. |
