What is the best Codec to use to convert from mpeg to .avi files for use in vizard? I seem to be running into a problem when i use a 512 x 512 video, the sound gets ahead of the video. Is there anyway to buffer the video so that this doesnt happen? I dont really want to go to a 256 x 256 resolution b/c of the poor resolution. Any suggestions?

thanks,
jeb

I have never actually seen the audio and video getting out of sync in Vizard, so you should also test on different hardware to make sure it just isn't your computer.

But to answer your question, DiVX is a really good codec and can be download for free (watermark on the first 5 seconds) or for ~$20 (no watermark).
