Transparent png broblems
Hi,
Im having a problem when using pngs with transparency. You can see through objects behind. The grass is on a plane however you can see through the bushes in background and can see the grey backgound image. This happens in inspector aswell. This happens as well in other places as well when we have a semi transparent png as a water surface. Certain objects in the water then disapear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks TarkaDahl |

Sounds like a drawOrder problem. Have you tried to assign different draworders yet?
.drawOrder(number, bin=viz.BIN_TRANSPARENT) |

Is the grass plane the only object in your model that contains transparency? If you have multiple transparent objects that intersect each other, then you will have these kinds of issues.
To solve these kinds of problems, we usually break up the transparent objects into smaller pieces. This gives the rendering engine more fine-grained control with the order in which transparent objects are rendered. If you continue to have problems, you can post your model here, or use our upload form, and somebody can take a look at it. |

Hi farshizzo,
I will try that today. Also is there any way to change my spelling mistake in the title. Thanks |
