animations
Hi
I'm trying to change the animations provided in the Complete Characters package, and create new animations - I'm new to 3dmax, and am having trouble understanding how this is done, and would be happy for some help : how do i import/export (animation) caf files into 3dmax? I've looked at the "https://gna.org/" site, ( which wasn't user friendly at all) and http://download.gna.org/cal3d/docume.../tutorial.html that were referenced in the vizard help, but did not manage to understand from them what exactly is the process i'm supposed to follow.... Thanks, dan. |

Hi dan12345,
3ds Max cannot re-import the exported caf animations. However, disks 2, 3, and 4 have animations in max's bip format, which can be loaded onto the avatar's skeletons. Since the animations take up very little space, those disks each contain the whole set of animations. |

The OSG plugin for 3dsmax only exports to that format, it does not support importing existing .osg/.ive files.
