software distortion for an arena

Hi,

I am interested in using Vizard to project a virtual reality environment onto a round arena, with feedback, and this all must be done in real time. I have seen that the system can accommmodate for a head-based virtual reality setup as well as a cave. Can Vizard including toolboxes also deal with round projections in real time? If so, what are the functions I should be looking at.

Thanks,

Flanny

I'm not sure what you mean by 'toolboxes', but Vizard has support for dome projection systems. Plugins for Elumens and Immersive Display Solutions (IDS) domes come with Vizard. If you have another type of dome then you will need to perform the distortion correction yourself, probably using some sort of render to texture technique.
