Question about simple deformation

I want to make a ball to become deformable when force acts it. Do I have to do this in 3ds max and implement into vizard? And what version of 3ds max should I have?

It is best to create a Cal3D model of the ball to show this animation.

The following download page has a link to download the Cal3D exporter for Max and lists the versions it works with.

Our supported workflow is through 3Ds Max but Cal3D files can be created through other modeling software as well.
