Stereo Overlap question
Hi all,
I have a quick question regarding the viz.stereooverlap() function. Can anyone tell me whether this changes the distance between the center of each image or whether it rotates the images to accomplish this varying degree of overlap? We're trying to set up a new nVis SX111 prototype that has the eyepieces each rotated 13 degrees from parallel around the y-axis, and thought this might do it. Advice is appreciated! Alternatively, is it possible to address each eye in viz.stereo separately? This way we could just manually rotate each viewpoint by 13 degrees. Thanks! |

We have used this prototype before. You can use the following code to get it working with Vizard:
Code:
viz.go(viz.STEREO|viz.HMD) viz.fov(64.0,1.25) viz.MainWindow.setViewOffset(viz.Matrix.euler(-13,0,0),eye=viz.LEFT_EYE) viz.MainWindow.setViewOffset(viz.Matrix.euler(13,0,0),eye=viz.RIGHT_EYE) |
