Orbit Transport
Does the Orbit tracker pivot or orbit around a target? for me I can only get it to pivot around a point what I am looking for is to use a tracking sensor to orbit around a target similar to below. Maybe I have to make my own?
vizcam.PivotNavigate(center=[0,0,0], distance=2, sensitivity=[1.0,1.0]) |

Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to do. What kind of tracking sensor are you using?

We have a PPTx tracking system along with a 4 walled CAVE.
Without going into to too much of an explanation I want to test a possible way to overcome the fact that looking at an object close to the user in the CAVE is a challenge due to the space within the CAVE being excluded from the vision. Anyway I have attached an image to show the difference between what I mean when saying pivot and orbit. The cubes in this image represent a CAVE Last edited by mamort; 12-15-2015 at 03:08 PM. |

Basically I want this
Code:
transport = vizconnect.getTransport('orbit') Code:
vizcam.PivotNavigate(center=[0,0,0],distance=2,sensitivity=[1.0,1.0]) |

Currently there is no transport that can be configured to work exactly like the pivotNavigate camera handler. Attached is a simple example for using vizconnect with pivotNavigate, perhaps this will help. An additional view is applied to the pivotNavigate camera handler. Then this view is applied to the vizconnect display.
