Support of "Space Navigator" (3D Connexion)

Hi,

we are thinking about purchasing the "Space Navigator" offered by 3D Connexion.

Does anybody know if the 3D navigator is supported by Vizard 3.0, or if there are any plans for future support? Is there perhaps anybody who already integrated "Space Navigator" in an application? I am pleased to get experience reports...

Thanks in advance!

Vizard already supports the SpaceBall by 3dconnexion. We haven't tried the SpaceNavigator with Vizard though. If the SpaceBall plugin does not work with it then we can develop a plugin for it.

That sounds perfect.
Thanks!

I will post an experience report as soon as our first tests took place to let you know if it works.

PlugIn for 3Dconnexion-Tools

Hi
we have a 3D project running and trying to use the "SpaceNavigator" for that purpose in "WorldViz Vizard 3".

Our question is, are there any plug-ins to use the Navigator?
(Maybe the SpaceBall-PlugIn does work? But we didn't find it!)

thx in advance!

There is a section in the documentation that shows how to use the SpaceBall with Vizard. Just search the docs for "SpaceBall", it should be the first result. The documentation is located under the Help -> Vizard Help menu.
