Is there a possibility to combine vizard with auralisation software?

I would like to generate a virtual environment that includes rendered acoustics (real-time auralisation). Software that offers real-time auralisation like CATT (www.catt.se) or EASE (www.auralisation.de) are rather limited in generating optical output. Therefore I was thinking about combining two software packages, one for the optical output, one for the acoustics. I thought about Vizard for generating the optics, as it seems to be a very flexible program.

Does anyone have experiences with combining two rendering programs for two diferent modalitites (probably running on two computers)? I would be very glad about any suggestions, hints, programs I should use instead, ...

Thanks
Jochen

We have added support for AuSim 3D audio simulation to Vizard, so this is definitely possible. If the other software provides an API for controlling the audio simulation, then it's simply a matter of creating a Python plugin to interface to it.
