control animation on ive or wrl files?

When i export my models with animation in wrl or ive files the animation runs in vizard in loop mode, how can i control that animation.

For example i want to play it when i want or pause the animation in some point, instead of running always the animation like crazy.

Just to clarify what im doing to have these animations:
When i use animations of translation, rotation or scale i just export in ive or wrl, but when i need to use animations of vertices, i use vrml(wrl) also or the osg sequence from tools that come with the osg exporter for max to exported in ive.

Attached is a folder containing a plug-in and a python module that loads this plug-in to control OSG animations based on simple transformations(translation, rotation, scale). Also in the folder is an example script that uses the python module.

For controlling complex animations you can export to the Cal3D avatar format. In Vizard you could either play animations or animate between morph targets.

Maybe there is another solution more elegant, but when i have a wrl model i import it in 3ds max then export it in a osg format
