Cannot see viz.input or viz.message box

Hi guys! Once I start my mainloop, I can't seem to see the viz.input or viz.message dialogue boxes. Is this a unique problem?

I *can* see the boxes during initialization, before viz.go() is called.
Note that I'm using the powerwall module.
